Our organization "UKRAINIAN FORTRESS" was officially established in 2015, but in 2014 we started working to help our friends and relatives who went to defend Ukraine from Russian aggression.

At that time, it was the usual help to our comrades who needed help on the first line of contact. Our team was simple - people who defend the homeland and those who support them.

Only after some time we decided to register as a public organization. In the process, we identified certain areas of our activities in which we understood:

• Volunteer activities to provide our comrades in the ATO zone (then the Joint Forces Operation zone)
• Support for ATO veterans (OOS) in employment
• IT training for veterans' children
• IT support for Ukrainian manufacturers

Our activities are aimed at the development of a successful state and the well-being of Ukrainians. Therefore, we are open to any cooperation for the development of Ukraine as a country.

Extract from the charter NGO "UKRAINIAN FORTRESS" regarding the purpose and directions of the organization' activities:

PURPOSE, DIRECTIONS AND CONTENT OF THE ORGANIZATION

2.1. The purpose of the Organization is: implementation and protection of rights and freedoms and satisfaction of legitimate, social, creative, age, national, cultural, sports and other interests in the spirit of introducing open civil society in Ukraine.

2.2. The activities of the Organization are:

• promoting the establishment of civil society institutions in Ukraine;
• promoting the intensification of public opinion on the need to support democracy in Ukraine;
• promoting the protection of human and civil rights and freedoms;
• promoting the creation of conditions for the satisfaction of scientific, economic, national, creative, educational, social and other interests; promoting participation in the study, popularization and application in Ukraine of social achievements of democratic countries;
• assistance in ensuring legal and social protection of citizens;
• promoting the comprehensive development of the Ukrainian language and culture, the revival of national consciousness; promoting scientific analysis, public discussion and popularization of Ukraine's achievements in the field of human rights and building civil society.

2.3. The content of the Organization's activities consists of actions aimed at achieving the goal, namely:

• conducting scientific and practical events (conferences, round tables, seminars, trainings, etc.);
• carrying out research work and educational activities;
• media activities, development and support of free media;
• establishment of mass media, scientific centers;
• creation of a public analytical and information center;
• participation and holding of rallies, demonstrations, pickets and other mass events in accordance with the procedure established by law;
• creation, execution, replication, distribution, demonstration (public display and public notification) and popularization of works of literature and art;
• creation, preservation, protection, use and popularization of the national cultural heritage;
• conducting scientific research in the field of culture, literary and artistic criticism, film critic; organization of recreation and leisure of citizens. participation in civil law relations, acquisition of property and non-property rights; dissemination of legal knowledge among the population;
• assistance in the protection of human rights and freedoms; participation in the creation of groups and organizations of legal protection of citizens;
• representation and protection of the rights of individuals and legal entities in relations with central and local executive authorities, local self-government bodies, officials, public organizations, all third parties;
• popularization among the population of mechanisms for the protection of rights in relations with the authorities within the framework of the current legislation;
• submission of comments and proposals to the state authorities of Ukraine and local self-government bodies;
• participation in the development and implementation of comprehensive and targeted programs; participation in the development of normative legal acts, assistance in their adoption and implementation;
• organization and conduct of public examinations of draft laws, programs, decisions and other documents and regulations;
• request from public authorities and administration and local self-government bodies the information necessary to achieve their goal; monitoring the electoral process in accordance with the procedure established by the electoral legislation of Ukraine;
• cooperation with international public and other organizations;
• participation in international scientific and practical and other activities that do not contradict the legislation of Ukraine;
• implementation of international relations in all forms not prohibited by applicable law;
• participation and holding of concerts, festivals, poetry evenings and other cultural events;
• participation and organization of recreation camps, tourist and local history campaigns, sports competitions;
• providing organizational and methodological assistance to their separate units;
• promoting their goals and objectives, disseminating information about their own activities, disseminating literature, promoting their ideas and goals;
• other activities not prohibited by applicable law aimed at achieving the goal of the Organization, and which does not contradict the status of a non-profit organization.
